An all-purpose medium-sized bark mulch, suitable for most garden surfaces including paths, play areas and beds. Made only from composted bark, this bark mulch is ideal for mulching around trees and shrubs, as well as for paths and play areas. For best results, apply after planting, and add an additional 4-5 cms every spring to maintain adequate depth. Bark mulch allows rainfall to reach the soil but will prevent weed development. It looks good, stabilises soil temperature and keeps in moisture during dry spells. Perfect for the base of trees to protect from strimmer or mower damage or for larger shrub beds. One sack will cover approximately 25 sq m to a depth of 4-5 cms. Delivered in 1 or 3 cubic metre sacks, making it excellent value, tidy and efficient - much better value than buying small bags in the garden centre. For amounts over 6 cubic metres we deliver loose, which is even more economical. Delivery to the greater Dublin area costs €30.00, applicable once on any order which includes a heavy item such as bark mulch, topsoil, rootzone or grass sods.
