This is Bulldog's most heavy-duty spade - and that's saying something. This short spade is 'strapped' almost all the way up the handle, making it virtually unbreakable, even when prizing heavy weights out of the ground. The solid forged, high-grade steel shaft is fixed through the handle in three places and it has a stout ash handle with an attractive, comfortable handle. It is designed primary for those in the nursery business and is used for digging rootballs and prizing open the ground.
