Coldframe (solid cedar)

This solid cedar coldframe is useful for a variety of purposes and is a popular addition to the smaller garden that perhaps cannot accomodate a greenhouse. Ideal for the hobby vegetable gardener or for anyone who wished to extends the growing season by getting seeds off to an early start. This coldframe is the finest available. Built in the UK by professional joiners using Western red cedar, which provides outstanding strength in adverse conditions, as well as excellent weather resistance. Cedar is a naturally oily wood, making it inherently rot resistant. Untreated, it weathers to a beautiful silvery grey, but if you want to preserve its rich colour it will need treating from time to time. FSC certified timber.
