Rootzone mix for lawns - 1 ton sacks (Lawn item 6)

The ultimate base for a roll-out lawn, this mix of 30% screened topsoil and 70% fine sand is ideal for getting a level base for a roll-out lawn. It improves drainage and enables lawns to be laid over soil which is wet or waterlogged and leads to a healthier, more resilient lawn. It has been stored in dry conditiopns, so is ideal for working with without damaging its structure.  It also enables you to install a lawn in damp conditions where it will stabilise soggy soil.  See our detailed instructions on how to lay a lawn. 1 ton is sufficient for approximately 20 square metres to a depth of c 2 cms. Supplied in a one ton sack, meaning that it can be cleanly and efficiently be left on your pavement or parking area. For amounts over 6 tons we can supply this unbagged, which is more economical. For larger loads we offer a 10% discount on unbagged deliveries above 6 tons - please enquire. Delivery withing the greater Dublin area costs €30.00, regardless of how much you order, applicable once on any order which includes heavy items such as bark mulch, topsoil, rootzone or grass sods.
