Kiln dried, ultra-low moisture (10-15%), Irish grown hardwood firewood logs. Free delivery to ALL Ireland, including Northern Ireland. These logs are the first and only firewood logs in Ireland to be certified under the N.S.A.I. Wood Fuel Quality Assurance Scheme. They are essential for modern stoves as they burn cleanly without producing tar. They are vastly more efficient than logs which are simply 'dry'. These hardwood logs have been dried to between 10-15% moisture content and include Ash, Oak, Sycamore and Beech. Logs are cut to 20-22 cms lengths or to 40 cms lengths. Exceptionally easy to light, mould and insect-free, they burn for longer and with far greater heat than other logs. These logs are kiln dried to literally cook the moisture out of them. They generate a considerably higher heat than conventional firewood. They are produced from sustainably managed Irish hardwood forests which are thinned on an ongoing basis. Volume of logs: A bulk load of logs comes in a tightly packed, solid 1.4m3 bag. The bag dimensions are 1m x 1m x 1.4m high on a pallet. Please note, these logs are relatively light because they are dry, so they are sold by volume rather than weight. If sold as unseasoned logs this volume would weigh approximately 1.25 tonnes, much of which would be water.

Delivery: All Ireland, including Northern Ireland, within 2-3 working days of ordering. No weekend deliveries. You will be called by our courier in advance. We cannot load your shed for you but will do our best to get it to a convenient location - we recommend storing your logs under cover. In repsonse to demand from our customers, we now supply and deliver these firewood storage sheds. Exceptionally solid and sturdy, our firewood storage shed is made from pressure-treated timber which will last outside for many years. Its roof slopes down to the front and projects over the edge for extra protection from rain. The Firewood Storage Shed sits slightly above ground level on a slatted base for extra air circulation. With slatted sides and back it allows air to circulate but keeps out the rain, meaning that logs can dry naturally. It is also ideal for storing our kiln dried firewood. We recommend erecting the Firewood Store against a wall of your house or in your garden, facing away from prevailing wind and rain - suitable for side passageways where it is narrow enough to fit whilst allowing room to get past.  Requires easy self assembly and all fittings are included if you select this option - or we can deliver and assemble for you.
