We call this stuff 'rocket fuel - it makes an all-purpose, easy-to-use fertiliser for trees, shrubs and flower beds. Scattered thinly over beds once or twice a year, it keeps plants and soil healthy. It's also perfect for top-dressing pots and keeping plants in containers in tip-top condition - simply work a small handful into the top inch of the compost. It's a well-balanced fertiliser which encourages leaf and flower development, and is particularly beneficial at the time of planting.
