Vermiculite (Art no JAB 2604)

Vermiculite is the ideal medium for seed sowing and propagation. A naturally occuring lightweight material which is specifically suitable for seed propagation and cuttings. It prevents against temperature fluctuation when used as a covering for freshly sown seeds, it keeps water near the roots and it prevents run-off of nutrients. Also suitable as a very lightweight medium for mixing with compost and soil in containers.
