Dicksonia images

When you buy a tree fern, it is sold by height of the stem. Depending on the time of year and the source, they may or may not be in a pot. This is completely standard, as the only place which absorbs water is the crown (top) and stem. In winter and spring, there may be less foliage than shown here, as new growth does not appear until May / June. In the winter the foliage is a little browner than shown here (taken 1st of July).

Our tree ferns are excellent value, and we pick out the best specimens on the market.

The tree ferns sold by dyg carry a tag which shows they are sustainably grown and harvested.
