Fig 'Brown Turkey'

Eating figs ripe from the plant are one of life's great pleasures and Ficus 'Brown Turkey' is the best choice for experiencing that pleasure here in Ireland. The fruits ripen in late August and are best picked once they begin to droop on the stalk. They should be grown in a sheltered spot in full sun. Training them against a south facing wall in a fan-like arrangement works very well. Figs should always have their roots constricted in order to encourage better fruiting. 3L container.
