Blackcurrent 'Ben Lomond'
Blackcurrents are an easy to grow plant which are rich in vitamins and very versatile in their uses. They will grow in almost any garden soil in full-sun or light-shade, but prefer moist well-drained conditions. The berries which appear in mid-summer should be harvested on a dry day by picking the whole "bunch", rather than individually. Blackberries can be eaten fresh or stored through bottling, preserving or freezing. 3L container.

Redcurrent 'Rovado'
Redcurrants are a beautiful thing to behold. The glowing red berries ripen in mid-July and last through all of August. The berries can be picked by the "cluster" rather than individually and should be picked on a dry day. Rovada is the latest of the redcurrents to ripen and is a very easy to grow, vigorous plant. Plant in full-sun or light-shade in any garden soil. 3L container.

Whitecurrant 'White Pearl'
Whitecurrants are both beautiful and although somewhat tart they have a delicate and unusual flavour. They make a lovely addition to pies and jellies or just as decoration around the edges of a cake or cheese board. The berries can be picked by the "cluster" rather than individually and should be picked on a dry day. Currants are very easy to grow, and require little in the way of pruning. Plant in full-sun or light-shade in any garden soil. 3L container.

Gooseberry 'Hino- Red'
This is a very hardy gooseberry producing medium-sized beautiful dark-red berries with excellent flavour. Gooseberries are long-lived, easy to care for plants which will produce fruit for at least 20 years. Plant in full-sun or light-shade in any garden soil. If necessary, pruning should be done in February. 3L container.

Gooseberry 'Invicta'
This is an exceptionally vigorous plant producing huge, sweet, greenish-yellow berries, perfect for eating straight from the bush or for preserving or freezing. Fruits ripen in early July and should be planted in full-sun or light-shade. Gooseberries are long-lived, easy to care for plants which thrive in most garden soils. Any pruning of plants should be done in February. 3L container.

Dog rose, Briar rose
A traditional and native rose with delicately scented pink flowers in mid summer and red hips in the autumn - and sharp thorns year round! Plant with a mix of other hedgerow species such as Hawthorn, Blackthorn and Elder. Flowers appeal to bees and butterflies, while the hips can be eaten by birds or used by us in jellys and preserves. Tolerant of a wide variety of soils except very wet or very dry. Berries or 'hips' are used for making a jelly or adding pectin to jams. Sold November to March as 5 bare root plants.

Blackberry 'Black Satin Thornless'
This blackberry has very large fruit in mid-summer with the added benefit of no thorns for much more pleasant picking! Plant in full-sun or light-shade in any garden soil. Blackberries are like their cousins, raspberries, in their growth habit, although a bit more vigorous. Any pruning should be done in winter, leaving at least 5 canes per crown. 2L container.

Blackberry 'Merton Thornless'
This is and excellent thornless blackberry variety with large sweet berries. The fruit is ready for harvesting in August/September. Blackberries should always be picked on a dry day, otherwise the berries will turn to mush after only a few hours. Plant in full sun to light shade in any garden soil. 2L container.

Blackberry 'Oregon Thornless'
This is quite an ornamental blackberry with distinct parsley shaped leaves, large white blossoms in spring and red autumn colour. It is also a very prolific fruiter with large glossy berries in mid-summer. Like all blackberries this plant should be planted in full-sun or light-shade and will thrive in almost any garden soil. 2L container.

| Rubus idaeus 'Allgold'
Raspberry 'Allgold'
This is an autumn fruiting raspberry, known for its very sweet flavour and delicate yellow/gold fruit. Plant in full sun or partial shade in well-drained acidic moist soil. Canes should be cut back to ground level in late winter and plants should be given a top-dressing of well-rotted manure. 5 canes per pot. Available November to March only.
